Lake Viken is the highest point of the Göta Canal, 91.5 meters above sea level. The water is of high quality with inflow from Unden and Örlen. The average depth is between 10-15 meters. The maximum depth is 30 meters.
Good stocks of pike, perch, pikeperch, burbot, whitefish and lake trout on growth after a few rounds of planting.
