STF Tivedstorp is an old village in the middle of the forest, surrounded by the beautiful and mysterious nature of Tiveden, “the fairy tale woodland”. It’s a perfect spot for relaxation and recreation. The National Park of Tiveden is right around the corner and you have endless possibilities for outdoor activities. The complex has 65 beds, camping areas for tents, a caravan parking for mobile homes, cafe and restaurant, conference facilities, green areas, chapel, assembly halls, sauna, indoor dance floor, outdoor dance floor, volleyball court and more.

Tivedstorp’s hostel offers pleasant rooms and cottages in an old-fashioned and rural environment. More information about the specific rooms is available at https://www.tivedstorp.se/english/. There is plenty of common areas that make for natural meeting places. The shared kitchens are well equipped and practically furnished so that several people can cook at the same time. There are large outside areas for barbecues, fun and games. Sheep, horses and cows often graze in the paddocks around the village.

Kaffestugan (”The Coffee Cabin”) is Tivedstorp´s reception, café and restaurant. This is where meals are served, from breakfast to dinner. The dining room can host 60 + people and has a license to serve alcoholic beverages. Next to Kaffestugan is a newly built grill house. There is also plenty of seating outside, with a beautiful view of the village.

Tivedstorp is rich in culture, as we host a variety of art exhibitions, music events and more. Weddings, conferences and parties of various sizes are continuously arranged at the venue.

Tivedstorp is an excellent starting point for hikes in Tiveden National Park. You can easily hike down to the national park via the Bergslagsleden, or take the bike or car down to the beautiful Vitsand beach or the main entrance, from which most hiking routes begin. There is a lot of nature to experience in Tiveden and many ways to experience it. Hike, ride, cycle or canoe, the possibilities are many.

Welcome to the forest!
